Shoes!

I love to wear shoes. If Mommy or Daddy's shoes are lying around, I will put them on and walk around. Well, this time I tried putting on my own shoes. Here were the results:

I think something wasn't quite right because it hurt a little. I said "ow" with every step.

My Wonderful Weekend

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope your weekend was as wonderful as mine! Let me tell you all about it.

On Saturday, we all headed out to Baton Rouge to visit Parrain and Aunt Kristi. I had so much fun playing with their kitty cat, Kahlan. I chased her around, and she even let me pet her. Aunt Kristi says I must be special because she was so nice to me. Here's a little video of me and Kahlan. If you can't tell, I'm saying, "I'm gonna get you!"

Mommy and Aunt Kristi took me to Chuck E. Cheese's. I must admit, it's getting more fun with each visit. I still wasn't brave enough to get on any of the rides. Mommy made me get on this one to take my picture, but, as you can see, I didn't enjoy it very much.

My favorite game was the one where you get to hit down rubber duckies. I also liked skee ball, but I don't think the other people were happy when I kept trying to take the balls from their machines.

That night, Mommy and Daddy went home, but I stayed with Parrain and Aunt Kristi. I got to sleep in a sleeping bag! I was really tired from not having a nap, so I slept the whole night and didn't get up until 8 AM. Unfortunately, Parrain and Aunt Kristi didn't sleep so well; It was their first night with a little kiddo like me around.

On Sunday morning, we just hung out. I played with my iPod while Parrain read.

On Sunday afternoon, they brought me back home. G.G. and Grandpa Rick came over. We had fun reading books and building block towers. After they left, Parrain and I spent some more time bonding. He taught me all kinds of new tricks. I even had Mommy help me make a video montage to show you. I think Parrain is the coolest; He's not like anyone else I've ever met. Mommy says it's because he is an only child, and that maybe I should have a little brother or sister after all. What does that mean? I'd love to be just like Parrain!

Note: Mommy says sorry, but the iPhone is not the best video recording device. You may have to turn the volume way up. She also says sorry for the shaking, but I was so funny she couldn't stop laughing. :)
